The Five Threats (５()大(だい)厄(やく)災(さい)()()()()()(), Godai Yakusai—lit. "Five Great Calamities") are five different specimens that were obtained from the Dark Continent, during five different voyages in the past. At the end of each of the five successful voyages, as collateral damage, humanity brought back Five Threats: the botanical weapon Brion, the gaseous lifeform Ai, the two-tailed snake Hellbell, the human-keeping beast Pap, and the immortality sickness Zobae Disease.
