The official website for the television anime adapting Shiromanata's Senpai ga Uzai Kouhai no Hanashi (My Senpai is Annoying) manga revealed the lead cast, additional staff, and a new key visual on Monday. The anime series will premiere in October 2021. Tomori Kusunoki (Sword Art Online Alternative: Gun Gale Online) and Shunsuke Takeuchi (Akudama Drive) are starring as Futaba Igarashi and Harumi Takeda, respectively. Staff Chief Animation Director: Yuuhei Murota (Love Live! Sunshine!!), Maho Yoshikawa (Ikebukuro West Gate Park), Hiromi Nakagawa (Himouto! Umaru-chan), Miki Mutou (Watashi ni Tenshi ga Maiorita! animation director) Prop Design: Eri Nakajima (New Game!) Shiromanata originally began drawing the romantic comedy manga on his Twitter account in September 2017 before serializing it digitally on Ichijinsha's comic POOL website beginning March 2018. The seventh volume will go on sale on Wednesday. Senpai ga Uzai Kouhai no Hanashi has a cumulative 1 million copies of its volumes in print.
