Sonic the Hedgehog is a two part OVA based on the video games with the same name. The OVA was originally produced in Japan during 1996, where it was simply titled Sonic the Hedgehog (ソニック・ザ・ヘッジホッグ), and it's two thirty minute episodes, were released over two separate VHS tapes.
