This summer, Marvel Studios is bringing Guardians of the Galaxy to the silver screen. The original team known by that name were freedom fighters from different human colonies who operated in the 30th century. In more recent years, the name was revived for a modern-day team of misfit heroes who banded together under the leadership of Peter Jason Quill AKA the Star-Lord. The modern-day version of the team is the one that will appear on-screen and Star-Lord will be played by Chris Pratt, famous for his roles in Parks and Recreation and films such as Her and Zero Dark Thirty. But who is this guy? Not Pratt, we know that he's a hilarious and affable actor. I mean Peter Quill. What's his deal? How have his role, origin and sense of style changed over the years?
