The Curse of the Abyss (アビスの呪 (のろ) い, Abisu no Noroi) or Strains of Ascension (上 (じょう) 昇 (しょう) 負荷 (ふか) , Jōshō Fuka) refer to a series of afflictions experienced by Delvers when ascending within The Abyss.
