The Qatar Masters Open chess tournament, returning after an eight-year break, brings together some of the world’s best players under the Lusail Sports Arena dome. Norwegian World No.1, tournament top seed and defending champion Magnus Carlsen started off with an easy win on Wednesday. A slew of other big names also made a winning start to the 10-day tournament.
