The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) / Nursing Assistant
Certification (NAC) course in Kenya is an entry level program for healthcare professionals offered by Bartmore Technical College, and accredited by the American Medical Certification Association(AMCA). A Nursing Assistant will provide or assist with basic care or support under the direction of onsite licensed nursing staff. A Nursing Assistant will perform duties such as monitoring of health status, feeding, bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, or ambulation of patients in a health or nursing facility. May include medication administration and other health-related tasks. Nursing Assistants are also known as nursing care attendants, nursing aides, and nursing attendants. Bartmore Technical College offers the Nurse Assistant training course in Kenya in collaboration with the American Medical Certification Association(AMCA) opening opportunities for CNA graduates to work locally in Kenya, as well as secure job opportunities in Canada, United Kingdom, Germany, Austria, Australia, Qatar, etc. Bartmore Technical College is also an approved testing Center for the American Medical Certification Association(AMCA) exams.   • Moving patients
  • Bathing & grooming patients
  • Feeding patients
  • Checking vital signs
  • Medication management
  • Documenting information
  • Cleaning rooms and bed linens
  • Grocery shopping
  • Patients mobility
  • etc.

Course requirements: KCSE grade of D(plain) and above

Course Duration: 2 terms(1 term of coursework + 1 term in hospital/facility placement)

Fees: Tuition fees of Ksh.50,000 for entire course | Practical fees: Ksh. 30,000 | Uniforms: Ksh.6000 for 2 pairs of scrubs
